Our Story

A Home Built on Love

In 2002, our parents built Pinfold Gardens as their dream home — a single-level sanctuary designed with accessibility and comfort at its heart. For them, it was a miniature version of the family home we grew up in, rebuilt on Pinfold Gardens, where medieval villagers once kept wandering sheep safe within the village pound.

Dad, a passionate cyclist and walker, spent countless hours exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, always with Mum by his side for scenic drives and picnics overlooking the coast. Their love for this corner of Yorkshire — for the working harbour, the priory bells, the rolling countryside — filled every room of this house.

Now, we're sharing that love with you. The two ceramic sheep in the garden remain as gentle guardians, honouring the area's heritage. The spirit of welcome Mum and Dad created still fills these walls. We hope you'll make your own happy memories here, just as they did for so many years.

While the seafront has its candy floss and arcades just a short walk away, Bridlington's historic Old Town offers something altogether quieter and more charming. Pinfold Gardens sits close to the Old Town's Georgian streets, giving you easy access to the 12th-century Priory, independent shops, and characterful pubs — yet you're far enough away to enjoy peace and residential calm.

A pleasant walk takes you to the working harbour (Europe's lobster capital!) where trawlers still bring in the daily catch, or into the heart of the Old Town where history lives in the architecture. Easily accessible by car from all major local roads — Bridlington rail station is reachable on foot or by local taxi.
